Check out my new chams including Crush from Chameleons101

I recently got a bunch of chameleons within the past couple of weeks including two more today. I'm very excited to have them. There doing great and look really nice. I got Chameleons101 breeder Crush and a female from them a couple of weeks ago. Crush is just an awesome looking cham and really tame. And today I got a male purple bar ambanja from them that's got some great colors, along with an ambanja female. The sire of the purple bar is Burt from Chameleons Northwest, who Chams101 got from them. In addition I had gotten a male and female ambilobe from The Chameleon Company. The males sire is Beetlejuice. He's not even close to his full color potential and is gonna turn out really nice. Altogether, I have recently got 6 chams and there just great. I don't know if I can stop from getting more, but for right now I think I have plently. I can't wait to see what they will look like when they get older. Check out my pics and tell me what you think. Thanks for the compliments. I don't have pics of my set ups right now. I would take the pictures right now, but I don't want to wake my cham buddies up. I'll be glad to post them tomorrow. Nothing spectacular, Just the standard set up 18X18X36 with Reptisun 5.0 18 inch bulbs plus a UVA bulb for each cage. And all the good stuff the goes inside (vines, foliage, ficus trees, ect. Each cham has their own cage for themselves. I'm working on getting some even bigger cages soon; Hopefully next week.

Yeah I went all out. I had two other chams that were really really old (A little over 5 years old) that passed away. One passed away 5 months ago and the other one about 4 weeks ago. So I decided to get some more. I'm glad I went to Chameleons101. They gave me a great deal and superb service. Eric is very knowlegable and answered any questions I had. I had gotten other chams from different companys before which were really feisty. But the ones I got from Chams101 were well tamed and very healthy. Seemed to be used to human interaction.

I'll try to post some more pics later this afternoon. My camera is not the best, but the chams still look good with the poor photo quality.

The purple bar ambanja has the best skin texture. Feels just like velvet. I've never seen anything like it before.

That's awesome to know. I plan on getting a baby from him in August and I've got my fingers crossed that I FINALLY get a friendly panther. My two others are the extremely feisty (it's what I get for naming one of them after a monster!).

Thanks! I'm between Mr. Ambanja and Fierce, right now. I'm debating whether to have two Ambilobes or all different locales.

That's a tough choice because there both great. But if I had to choose I would get a Feirce baby. Well actually, knowing me I would just get both.

Lol Probably! I would get both if I had the room. I'm just a little worried that Fierce's babies won't inherit his red-blue-red-blue.

Well looking at the babies photos, they definately got the red. But only time will tell if they become similar to him. You should wait a little longer than when you plan to get them; just to make sure your getting what you want. That's why I like to buy sub adults - adults. A little bit more expensive, but I know for sure what they'll most likely be getting for coloration and patterns.

Ok that's good advice, thanks. I guess I'll check in with him in another 2-3 months and see what he has from Fierce. I really wish I could get one from each though!

Yes I did get Crush. You're right I did get lucky. He's good looking and well behaved. Awesome color variations and bar patterns.
I can't wait for my other chams to grow up to see what there full color potential will be. Now I'm trying to come up with some names for my younger new guys and gals. I got some good ones in mind. Does anyone got any good names that you could think of too?
