Chams eating Dead Insects??

I feed my Chams in a Bowl and sometimes the crickets or Superworms die in the Bowl, I noticed a day later he ate them in front while I was watching. is it ok to leave the dead insect in there or take them out??

I always take any dead ones out when I see them. I would assume they can't be good for the chameleon because of possible bacteria/disease development.

generally speaking, the consumption of dead organisms(un cooked) is a no no for non scavenging animals... I try to remove anything dead for sanitation reasons and dead crickets stink lol
