Just wanted to see if anyone had any idea why he keeps trying to hang himself upside down near the most dangerous places imaginable first it was on the corner where his feeding bowl was there was a small gap he would slide down in between the glass and bowl now I moved the bowl as close as possible no more gap now he just tries to hang there out on a limb with nothing underneath that he can try to use to catch himself… oddly enough maybe he just knows I worry about him nd his safety because he honestly seems to only do these type of things when I’m close to the enclosure to see him sometimes he dangles there and stares at me nd reaches out to me as if trying to say help me I might fall but it kinda feels like a little bit too much of a coincidence or maybe manipulation…

Juvenile chams are super funny creatures, they like to screen climb as much as possible and do weird things to keep you worried.

I just keep adding more sticks to my enclosure to try and give mine more options to wonder. But sometimes they still do questionably silly things...

Perhaps a pothos from a hardware store (Home Depot/Lowe's) to add more natural vines for him to wonder in for your enclosure. It would do great in the ground of your bioactive cage, the leaves grow better when you get the Vine to grow upward too!

I'm seeing some things wrong with his enclosure. It could very well be contributing to his behavior of climbing in the darndest places.
From the looks of it, it seems you may have purchased a chameleon kit of sorts.
They sadly come with a ton of inappropriate things, and the sooner it's corrected, the better!

I notice the enclosure size is very, very small. The minimum for chameleons is 2x2x4.
The other thing I think I'm seeing, is that you're using the 2-in-1 dome fixture for a basking bulb and a UVB coil bulb.
Sadly, UVB coil bulbs do not put out the appropriate UVB at all for a chameleon. This means your little guy is at risk of developing MBD.
The chameleon approved UVB brands are the reptisun T5HO 5.0 and the Arcadia 6%. You will need the 24" fixture, as it will fit perfectly on an appropriately sized enclosure. This is very, very, very crucial!
It could be that your cham is consistently found in these odd upper areas because he's trying desperately to make use of the UVB the coil bulb is putting out.

I agree that your guy is needing some serious upgrading. That is probably also why he’s fallen. We would love to help you and your fella make the needed improvements so that you share many healthy and happy years together.
