Chameleons eye

my veiled chameleon has a little bump on his eye. He seems perfectly healthy and it doesn't seem to bother him, I just hate looking at it and was curious about what it was

There's an old thread where a Panther had a very similar looking bump. There's several suggestions, but a lot of folks are suggesting its shed that got in under the lid. May need a vet visit to remove.
Other suggestions were debris or a swollen duct. I imagine if it isnt irritating, it would at least be itchy, but if he seems fine, he may be ok to leave it there. If it hasn't been a terribly long time, you may mist over the eye with a really really fine misting bottle. Make sure everyhting's clean before going through with it!
