Chameleon weight

I'm now curious. I weighed my boy gizmo and on the safe side I'm gonna say he's 288g. He may be more or less cause he won't sit still or stay centered on the scale.
I always though he was a big boy but is 288 considered big???

Yea, almost 300 grams is on the larger end for what panthers can weigh but that's normal. If the photo you have in your album is recent then I think he looks great, not overweight at all. So he's obviously just big!

I don't think any of my panthers have ever crossed the 200 gram mark, but I've seen some monster panthers that certainly go above and beyond that! So there can be a lot of variation within the species.

Wow!

Wow!! my boy is 5.5months and weighs 41g he's still got alot of growing to do! Though he's averaging about 1cm growth a week at the moment he's 28cm nose to tip of tail or 5 inch from nose to the back of his legs.

Neo just hit 5 months old. Never thought to weigh him, but he is almost 15" from nose to tail.

From experience (I'll scale him later) I would say he's half a pound, or 8 ounces, or 225 grams.

Neo is almost growing before my eyes as I watch him.

I have a rather nice triple beam balance scale and I'll get him on it tomorrow.
