I have an approx 6 week old Panther who wakes up at 0900 and wants to go to sleep around 1730-1800. He is also near a window and the sun sets around 1630-1700. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Hi! Naturally in winter chaneleons will want to sleep with the sun, that's how it goes in the wild as they don't go about in the dark. some keepers change the light schedule gradually to match winter and summer.
mine gets up at 7am and is in bed around 5pm, even though the lights dont go off till 10pm. His eyes still move and he doent get his night colors, but the tail is curled and hes ready for bed, wont eat or nothin.
