Chameleon walking on floor

yesterday and today I noticed my male chameleon walking on the floor. But he would go down for only minute and go back up to the branches. He does this a couple times a day.He usually crawls on the floor to eat crickets he finds. Could he just be hungry?

If he isn't staying on the floor, and he goes down there because there is crickets to eat I don't see a issue.
