chameleon v leopard gecko problem

Hi, I have a baby panther ambilobe. I also have a leopard gecko. They are both in the same room but can't see each other. Since I got my baby panther on Wednesday, my gecko has been being weird - not eating and trying to climb the walls of her tank as well as trying to get out the glass. However, shes is her usual self when being handled. I'm not sure if she's about to shed or stressed or what or if I'm just paranoid. Your help is appreciated.

The chameleon being in the same room with the gecko has nothing to do with the gecko's behavior. That much I can say. If the gecko is trying to get out of it's cage at night you may want to check the habitat. Animals tend to only try and escape their habitat when the habitat is uncomfortable, they looking for a mate, or the animal is looking for food.

I have several female gekos inbetween to panther chamelons , honestly the gekos see the crickets faster than the chamelons do , even when there in the chameleons cages
