chameleon tail

I went away for a couple of days and I had someone watch my female veiled and I came back her tail was deformed. She couldn't wrap it in a perfect circle and she wasn't really using it to climb with. It had little wounds on it and brown liquid coming from it. Can someone tell me what this is please

Perhaps you should ask the person who was watching her if they smashed her tail in the cage door or something, or if they left crickets in the cage to munch on her tail.

I thought It would be crickets but I have a cup to put crickets in her cage or maybe some got. idk thanks
