Chameleon poop

So not that I’m a creeper but I was watching my Larry poop this morning and noticed a red bulge coming out his vent. Was this his penis or is this something I should be considered about. I tried to get a picture but it came out bad because I didn’t want to open the cage and interrupt his morning poop. This photo is the best I got

Whenever someone opens up a thread with “I’m not a creeper but...” you can be pretty sure they’re a creeper! Lol just messing with you. Looks like a lapse, I’m not a creeper either but this is 1/2 a Cham penis just for reference.

he might be having to strain a little to hard to poop, they can prolapse their rectum which means that it will be a red bump hanging out that won't go back in, then you have a problem, so may want to try adding some soft worms and such to his diet so it softens up the poop some, hornworms or silkworms, just not too many too often because then it goes the opposite way and becomes too runny. Making sure he is well hydrated helps too.

Yes it was a red bump! When I seen it I thought do Chameleons get Hemorrhoids? I went out and bought horn worms that day. I’m currently waiting for my silk worms to grow to size, They just hatched see going to b awhile.
