are you provoking her or is she just doing it on her own?

Filling this out also helps to identify any issues you may be having. Good luck friend.

Is it like a popping or wheezing? It may be a respiratory infection....but you will need a vet to tell you for sure.

Sounds like a respiratory infection - even if it's not, if shes producing excessive mucus, it's probably best to get her checked out.

Does it look a bit like this? First one, you can see bubbles at the corners of his mouth, and the second one you can see the gunk and mucus he had at in his throat. He also used to make a "pfft pfft" noice that is actually them coughing the mucus up.

Probably a vet visit is in order, because you want to rule out (or in) an infection before it gets worse. This particular guy had 2 different infections going on.

But you do have a set-up and everything right? It would be good for you to fill that out anyway to the best of your knowledge so we can help with any husbandry things that may need tweaking, or to confirm that you've got everything set up correctly.

I would contact Screameleons and let them know that she may have an infection. Sometimes the shock of shipping lowers their immune system and they are more likely to develop something like this. They may work with you to have her sent back and you can get a replacement chameleon, a refund, or whatever. But I would really take her to a vet as well, she may need antibiotics before it gets worse if it is an infection.

yah it kinda does look like that...

I suggest taking your chameleon to the vet. If it looks like that andsounds like popping sounds its prolly a respitory infection. The only was to cure a respiratory infection is having your vet prescribe the correct antibiotic. Once your chameleon feels better try not have the cage constantly wet or it could even be your not misting enough. How often do you mist every day?

First, I so hope your chameleon is alright!

Second, I want to thank Olimpia for those pictures. I really think they should be in some sort of stickied "general health issues" thread. Nothing beats a good picture.

Thank you! I wish I could have gotten better photos of his throat, but you can imagine how hard it is to hold him AND focus the camera with proper lighting lol But I think they manage to help.
