Chameleon keep hitting cage with tongue

Hey guys, I bought a baby veiled chameleon and he recently started hitting his cage with his tongue and I was wondering if that was normal

No its not. Could you post a picture of the cage and the cham? Are there any mirrors by him? Are his feeders located by him?

Is he aiming at water droplets? Or is a side of the cage glass, and he's shooting at a reflection?

It's glass so probably his reflection, ty !

You're welcome. You can try to hang a plant or try to arrange it so the lighting doesn't make him see his reflection.
