Well it's his lizard at the end of the day, but I stand by my recommendation.
If its very small peices, they may pass without issue, but I still wouldnt be adding to its intestinal content until its passed crap or impaction is apparent, whichever be the case.
The lizard wont starve without food for a week. If it passes crap with the substrate evident, no problem, great, then resume feeding.
However if it becomes apparent after a week or more that the lizard is in trouble, cant poo/straining,
an empty system, rather than a packed full intestine and stomach is probably better.
