Chameleon Hiccups?

First time I have ever heard my Chameleon make this sound. He was doing it every few seconds to minutes- kind of like hiccups.

Is this normal? Kind of a weird sound....

looks and sounds more like a cough to me.

It sounds like a cough. It means he's sick. You need to take him to a vet.
