Chameleon head tilting

Hello. My jackson chameleon is about a year old and he is recovering from a bubbled eye. It was extremely swollen and everything we tried didnt help. We decided to just stop antibiotics and let nature take its course. But he actually started looking a lot better. The swelling is going down and he's more active and eating more. He's been doing so much better until tonight. For some reason he looks really off balance and his head is tilting to the side where his eye is swollen. It doesnt look anymore swollen and he ate and drank today. I'm holding him right now to keep his head up while I'm typing and his eyes are closed but he's very green. Does anyone know what's going on? I'm so confused he's been doing really well?

Now the thing is we arent really sure If it's an infection or not. After stopping the antibiotics the swelling went down. We had him on drops then an oral antibiotic. After a little while the tilting stopped and I put him back in his enclosure where he climbed to the top and eventually went to bed. He seems to be alright now but I'll have to see in the morning. If the tilting continues tomorrow I'll call my vet. But I live in northern Michigan and the only vet that specializes in reptiles is in detroit where theres thousands of cases of covid-19 so I've been apprehensive about bringing him down there. Plus it's a 4 hour drive. So I'll see how he's doing tomorrow.

They maybe able to have something sent to you from a compounding pharmacy or maybe from your regular pharmacy.
