Chameleon grabs own face WHY?

For some reason while my chameleon is walking anywhere he gets his toes stuck on his neck is this normal?

Yep, chameleons grabbing themselves is a symptom of MBD.

I give him calcium every 3rd day and he has all the proper lighting I got all the info to take care of him off of here I hope he doesn't I cant get the pic any bigger

I just copy and pasted what this forum recommends for supplementing. You can read the link if you haven't already. Not saying your chameleon has MBD, but loss of limb control is an early sign. It's not always easy to tell from a picture. Anyway, here is the quote.

give NON d3 calcium EVERY DAY with every feeding, then give D3 calcium twice a month

thank you soo much ill make sure to give him calcium everyday now hopefully that'll reverse the signs thanks for the advice much appreciated
