Here is a fun Trivia for all u chameleon peeps.
During the tongue strikes on a prey,does the chameleon's eyes open or closed?
How about when its tongue retracts the prey into its mouth , does the chameleon's eyes open or closed??

Eyes open for both. At least this is what my Veiled does as I have a slow motion video of him eating.

Scared about what? Did you mean the one small part that said they close their eyes when bringing the tongue in that disagrees with what we said?

No Im agreeing with what you all said, Im just wanting to find out why the guy say when the tongue retracted with the feeder while the cham's eyes are closed.

I been watching mines when the chams retracted its tongue with the feeder 20 times, 14 out of 20 its eyes is opened only 6 are closed
