chameleon friends

I have a sweet 5 and a half year old panther that had become buddies with my veiled. Whenever seperated they sought each other out and when my veiled was diagnosed with renal failure my panther never left his side and when he passed my panther withdrew for a year until he found a new pal in another veiled. Pix below show how Monkey stayed in the basket with my ailing veiled and then him with his new buddy Darwin 172309_1760321422130_3087272_o.jpg

That is so sweet and your Veild looks gigantic especially in comparison to your panther! How much does he weigh? He is beautiful!

Thanks he does have unique coloration patterns and size comparison Darwin is twice his size and 40 grams heavier. It was so sweet to watch Monkey's loyalty to my ailing veiled. He never would leave his sidehttps://www.chameleonforums.com/pix-65052/ 176402_1720647990319_2755976_o.jpg

Thanks I know this is not a typical scenario but have been lucky that a few of my different species don't seem bothered by one another. My jackson paired with my flapneck and my nosey be hangs with a veiled and Monkey

That is very sweet. My panther is that way with our jackson. He wants to be near him all the time. As soon as I let them out in to their free ranges he heads directly over to him. Not sure the jackson feels the same way, but he tolerates his company and does not stress at all.

Very cute.

It makes it much nicer than them being aggressive. I took a chance of opening pandora's box of you shouldn't put them together but in my opinion it is each chameleon
