I would say online. There's a few sponsors here on the forums that have great deals for crickets! You should check it out.

Well it depends on what you want.

if you can keep a larger number of crickets alive, buying online is the way to go.
if you cant- then I suggest you buy locally in small batches.

Crickets have about a 6 week life cycle, so if you are feeding 1 cham, you won't need large quantities. I would buy crickets and super worms locally.
