Chameleon Burn Questions

Hello i have been treating my chameleons burn for abit more than a week now, But i have a few questions that i have not seen answers on in the forums
Questions:
How long does it take a chameleosn burn to heal?
How do i know if his burn is healing?
What are signs the burn has gotten infected/Not healing?
Is there anything else i can do to help speed up the process or help it heal faster?

If anyone can answer these questions it will be apreciated :)

Burns take time to heal depending on how bad the burn is.
If you are using the silver sulfadiazine cream from the vet this is the best way to treat a burn and the underlying infection. Using anything else you could create a larger issue and even a deeper infection.
Nothing you can do to speed up the process. These just take time and proper treatment.

Depending on location of the burn if on the spine or casque they may loose spikes or part of the casque. Using the proper cream ensures that the lost area is minimal. If they develop infection down below this can cause a loss of more area. This is where using the silver cream and correcting basking fixture becomes really important so they do not get a secondary burn and so it heals with minimal damage.
