Can i keep two female chameleons together? I recently went to the pet shop where i got my baby veiled and the same one that was with the original one i bought was still there and she was very dark almost black and she looked very stressed out. I want to buy her so bad but i need to know if i can keep them together. I have the money to provide for the both of em.( maybe i might breed later....who knows)

If they are babies, you can somtimes keep them in the same cage. Depending on the size of the cage and what you have inside (lots of greenery). But you have to make sure that there is enough room for them both to bask, get uvb, and hide from each other when necessary. And that is only if they are around the same size. And it's only for a short period of time. I had 2 baby panthers that i wanted to keep and housed them together for about 2 mos. or so. Then i noticed one was getting bigger and one was getting smaller so i had to immediately move her to her own cage. Sooner or later, 1 will become dominant and intimidate the other. So if you are thinking of getting another one, don't do it unless you are prepared to get another complete set up.

Yes but if you still want to do it you can build a cheap cage that will work amazing for about $40 and thats a 2x2x4 foot one. The only thing is if you go cheap your not gonna win any beauty contests with it but it will work great
