Chameleon babysitters?

Hello! I am just wondering if anyone knows where I could possibly find a sitter for my chameleon. I am supposed to go to a relatives for christmas and am just wondering if vets do it or if anyone around my area do it. I live on Canada, Ontario. Hamilton area.

I hear ya...I love to travel and we also have a cabin and go snowmobiling alot in the winter, but - I also love my chams and don't want to give them up in order to accomodate my love of travel. I previously boarded my chams at my vets - I felt comfortable knowing my guys were going to be cared for medically (Camo was sick with an eye infection at the time) but it wasn't an ideal situation as my vet didn't have a dedicated space for their viv's and had to accomodate them on her desk! She also charged $20.00 per day/per cham and it adds up when you're in Mexico for 2 weeks!!

However I was searching Craigslist one day and came across a couple who live very near me, who offered reptile boarding! I felt like I won the lottery! They truly love reptiles and have a huge crew of their own and they can provide cages or not...they'll use their feeders or not...and they only charge $5.00 per day!! Since finding them last July I have utilized their services about 4 times already!!

Too bad you live on the 'wrong' side of Canada!!
