haha i'm gonna have to totally agree with you here. It may look like a mini doberman, but its not related at all to a doberman and is actually an older breed than the doberman. In all kennel clubs its known as the miniature pinscher

Sorry to burst your bubble Levi, but this is true. Also, there could be some dachshund in there with the min pin in your dog.

I have a neighbor that has a papered mini pini and it looks just like a d. pincher. I don't know much about the breed, but the coloring, ears and snout do seem to suggest a mixture.

A Doberman Pinscher is a large dog that looks similar to a min pin. The only things they have in common are their color types, both usually have docked tails and cropped ears, and both are in the pinscher group. Dobermans are usually around 60-85 pounds where as min pins are something like 6-14 pounds.

I have to agree with Kenya here and say that is NOT a Min Pin. That is a total mix. If someone sold you that as a pure bred, they ripped you off. Cute dog either way though!
