Chameleon Acting Kind Of Weird

My panther chameleon is acting really weird for the last month.

He just hides in the back and never comes out anymore.

He is only 6 months old and he is eating less than when I got him at 3 months.

When I got him he would eat 9-10 1/2 crickets. Now hes eating 4-5 1/2 crickets.

Any suggestions?

Also is there anyway to get my chameleon to get my chameleon to come out of the cage? Every time I put my finger in the cage he just runs away or flips over the branch.

I agree, you should fill out the form. Be as specific as possible. Names of supplements and lights, size of crickets, stuff like that. "Fecal Description" means: what does the poop look like. "Normal" is not the answer we need, please describe it (you might not know what normal chameleon poop looks like, after all). Include as many pictures as you can. A picture of the poop would not be inappropriate.

They do sort of hit maturity at some point and slow down on eating. It takes more food to grow a chameleon than it does to maintain one. So, possibly that's all that's happening there, but the fact that he's staying brown and hanging out in the back suggests something is bothering him and filling out the form is the best way to find out what it might be.
