Alright so I’ve got four dogs my chameleons in my bedroom the dogs like to come in time to time my chameleon can be a bit wary of them getting near his cage but normally he just seems curious he met one of my calmer dogs he just seemed a little annoyed and cautious about her. Should I just let him get used to them or would it be better to avoid the small amount of stress with them being in the room?

Some love dogs. Some free rangers will grab onto dogs and unfortunately go on pony rides to other parts of the house.

As long as there is no poofing you are fine. Mine has a 50 pound limit. If you are a beagle you are cool and can get right up in his grill, if the golden retriever comes over is poof city and may get bit on the nose.

He’s never puffed at the dogs just shifted on my hand so they couldn’t see him same for on his branch if they get too close

I would avoid any direct interaction. Seeing them on the other hand they will adjust to that and calm down as they get used to them.
That’s generally what I’ve been going with him he was out while I was cleaning his cage and my calm dog was in the room (shes small) and she sniffed him they kinda stared at each other and then just went about their business

Again I would be much more cautious if you have the cham out. All it takes is one fast reaction and you have a horrible situation. If you are dealing with a baby cham they will also jump to try to get away if they feel threatened. I personally never let my dogs or cats in the room if my chams were out. I have seen too many awful things in the forum and learned from others experiences. The cham will view the dogs as a predator. It will naturally react accordingly.
