Cham weights

OK for those of you that weigh your chams regularly.. jsut checking to make sure the chams are on track.

Kink, male veiled, 1 year old- weighed in at roughly 74 grams.
Kermit, male Hoehnelli, 11 months old- weighed in at roughly 13 grams (for those that have hoes, is that ok, seems very small)
Lily- female veiled, 5-7 months old- weighed in at roughly 42-43 grams.


So what do you guys think?

kermit seems sorta small my year old female is 23grams... and iwantsones hoes are about the same.

I know! Hansel (iwantones male) is like 24 grams.
Im concerned hes not putting the weight on like he should.

Ive been giving him a wax worm every day. but i think hes just a runt maybe?

idk. thats smallish tho, esp cuz he's almost a year.

Yea Im concerned. He seems healthy, he eats his worms and crickets everyday, urates are white.. eyes are good... so I dont see any health issues that could be causing it...

some hoes are littler than other, that i know..mabey chloes just a bigger hoe. hopefully he'll preform dispite the size diffrence

ATARAXIA is where you got chloe from right? I cant get showjet to respond to my fb msgs, so I want to talk to someoene else who has hoes too to see if they just put the weight on later or something.

I don't know for sure but veilds should be pretty big at a year, right? My panther is only 10 months and last time I weighed him he was 132 grams. I thought a veiled should weigh more than a panther.

Really? I thought it was the other way around.

Most panthers I've heard about are into triple digits on weight.
Veileds are not as thick or dense as a panther can be.

It is the other way around, veileds are bigger than panthers. I've never had any of your boys but your female seems right on track, it's what my Charlotte weighed at around that age as well.

If that's the case then shouldnt a male veiled at Aa year old weigh more than a ten month old panther

I think both of your veileds are small. I weigh my guys every Sunday and will get Luie and Camille's weights for you at that age.

Great now Im just all kinds of worried!
I dont understand... I think im going to get a differetn scale..
I know Kermit is small,

But kink is the lenth of my forearm and he eats alot.

Sunday, he ate 9 large crickets, yesterday, he ate 5!

Lily ate 3 large crickets on Sunday, and 3 again yesterday. She wont eat more than that.


I offer them food daily. Kink wont eat daily no matter what, and Im still working with Lily on getting her to trust me enough to cup feed.

ANy suggestions???

I think my scale may have been off. Im ordering a different one right now.

If the new one says that Kink weighs say. 100 g, would that be a better weight range for him? what about Lily?

and how much should she be eating right now, given the fact that it does not appear she is sexually mature.

Have they had a fecal recently? They could have parasites.

At 8 months old Luie weighed 88 grams and 140 at one year old. Luie continued to gain weight until 30 months old. Once he got up to 235. Dr. Alfonso had me cut back on his food and I now keep him under 220. Sunday he was 218 grams.

At 5 months old Camille weighted 81 grams, 99 at 6 months and 116 at 7 months. She laid her first infertile clutch at 14 months old and weighed 188 grams before the clutch and 146 after. When I cut Luie back I cut Camille back too and kept her in the 130's except when she was carrying eggs.
