Hey guys, I'm a recently new chameleon owner. I have a female veiled beautiful lizard she's is around 6 months old give or take a few weeks, just a couple questions.. Do all chameleons hate water? Mine runs and hides when I mist her cage down. And around what age will they start changing more drastic colours? She stayes different shades of green and when she's mad goes almost white with dark green spots

You sure you have a veiled? I havent seen a veiled get all white with green spots. They are a green base color with small blue spots and orange larger spots when mature.

Yeah she is a veiled, baught her from my local reptile store with a very reliable breeder. Saw both breeding veiled Chams. And when I say white it's more of a off white/ green pastel colour

that may be because your cham is way too hot and needs to cool off. She is a female, so she wont have drastic color changes. She will, though, give you headaches when she has to lay eggs.

She only turns the whitish colour once in a blue moon, and her cage is constantly between 75-85 degrees depending on if I have my window open or not, the only times she has changed this colour is when I am handling her, she is fine out of the cage loves crawling around my shoulders but it's the initial coming out of the cage that makes her tweak
