Hi, I'm pretty new to this forum but have a question of major concern. I have a Cham that is a young adult, I've had her for about a year now and she came to me as a severely neglected "stray". I got her back to health and she has since laid eggs twice, the only thing I noticed with the others is that she went off food for a couple of days, had them then everything resumed as normal
Here's the issue. This time it has been 6 days since she ate on her own. On day 3 I started forcing Oxbow for carnivores. On day 5 i took her to the vet to have her xrayed to see if she may be egg bound, we saw the eggs but none in the position that would lead us to think egg bound. I need help, how long do I wait? how long can they hang on to the eggs? Is there anything I can do that will help her?
