I meant like when they import chams and stuff, does anyone know the statistics, like the conditions of the facilities, and death rates.

Rates of importation, mortality, origin, etc. may be kept by the World Wildlife Fund's TRAFFIC program. You'd have to contact WWF directly to get this type of info.

Conditions of the facilities would depend on where they are (in the country of origin such as Madagascar) and whether or not there's an agency who even inspects them. Conditions of the animals as they reach a port of entry in the US are only spot checked by USDA or possibly US Customs. There's way too many animal imports to check them all, so they are looking for illegal shipments or obvious violations.
