omg thanks so much, I knew that they don't develop emotions I just kinda said friendly as tolerating. I wont pick him up for awhile because I've been picking him up everyday after the two week mark people say to wait. I'm still gonna hand feed him worms and maybe some crickets but I wont try and hold him, thanks so much!

Are you sure he ment for you to physically put your hands on him to take him out and not just take the whole cage outside?

That would be pretty hard because of how big it is and how small I am, also I asked the same thing because I was also concerned and confused and he said yes with my hands, he really likes it outside I let him climb on bushes and small trees.

I don't understand how a biting, hissing, jumping Cham would willingly climb on you. Your definitely doing the right thing by giving him his space for a few days, preferably a week.

He should only associate you with positive experiences such as hand feeding and getting some sun.

Does he have an outside cage? An outside cage gives your Cham a home away from home, somewhere where he can feel safe while outside. Since he likes to be outside you want him to associate you with the positive experience, same idea as hand feeding. Since the stress seems to come in when your moving him outside I'd try to lure him onto a branch, with some snacks if he's still reluctant to do so on his own, and then slowly walk him over to his outdoor cage and let him climb into his new cage on his own.

If $ is an issue just buy a quality mesqueto net, they are cheap, and hang it above whatever bush your using.

I don't have an outside cage I only have a stick bush I put him on. He climbs on me because I leave his door open so when he walks out I just put my hand near him and he gets on. I haven't touched him since I started this post, only hand feed his worms and crickets. I'll talk to my grandma about making an outdoor cage because she has the things we need to make it.
