Cham Diarrhea? And questions regarding horns...

Hey folks!

So I have had Arrow about a month since my last questions and he's doing amazing! He drinks and eats like a pro and wanders all over his habitat. That being said, I have a couple new little concerns and would appreciate any advice.

1) this morning I discovered a VERY liquid/ viscous poo. It was clear except for a large bit of white in the middle. I assume this is some type of chameleon diarrhea? Is this potentially a sign of something worse to watch for or did he just eat a cricket that didn't agree with him?

2) he is estimated to be about 6 months old and I am just starting to see a possible sign of a crooked horn. What could be the cause of this and how can I help fix it? Its not bad by any means, but I would certainly like to correct any problem before it becomes serious.

Thanks again everyone! You all are life-savers. :)

Have you had him checked for parasites? Take a fecal sample to any competent vet (doesn't have to be a herp specialist) and ask them to test. If it was unusually smelly that could be a sign of a problem. An occasional watery poop isn't necessarily unusual especially if he happened to be drinking a lot. A busy, fast growing young cham that is drinking a lot can have more watery stools.

I don't think you can do anything about a crooked horn directly. Could be genetic, a simple individual growth pattern, or possibly result of a minor injury to the horn bud. It may straighten as it grows. Chances are its not going to be a big problem...just make him unique.
