Cham Christmas Prezzies!!

Just wondering what everyone is getting their chameleons for Christmas? My pets are part of the family and we buy them Christmas gifts too! Amy and Tommy have got silkworms this year! Sadly, they won't be able to eat them for a while, they are far too small yet! I am taking great care of those silkies so hopefully they will be big enough to be eaten very soon!:D

So long as the weather permits I am going to allow them a day outside to freerange. I have 2 weeks of break, so I will be able to stay outside and watch them! :)

I think mine is getting the best present ever... a new home and a plane ride that he is on as we speak!!! lol OOO YA AND "A LOVING MOMMY AND DADDY"

Awww! It's so exciting planning for a new chameleon arrival! Mine and Tommy's Christmas came early this year (on Nov 18th) as that was the day I brought him home to his forever home with me and my family! He's the best Chrsitmas prezzie I ever bought myself, lol!:D

Thaxter usually gets a hornworm. Last year they were out and I got him a smallish Madagascar hissing cockroach, but he never figured out it was food, so I had a pet cockroach for while.
To echo Rocky, silkies grow incredibly fast (as do hornworms). And if you've got enough, it's fun to let a few turn into moths, which are slow, flightless, and delicious (if my animals are to be believed).
