Cham cam!

I set up a webcam looking at my little guy's cage, here's the link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/cham-cam

I mainly did this so I can keep an eye on him while I'm at work, but I will hopefully be improving the view a bit. I've been watching now and then during the day (obviously since I AM actually at work!) but have only seen him once I think. There's a bowl there with some crickets in it, but I haven't seen him go near it unfortunately.

He's a Sambava panther 3 months old. Here are some recent pics also...

Man thats cool I have been wanting to set up a webcam for a while but I have sattelite internet and our bandwith allowance would be used in a couple of days easy.

Check out the cham cam now!

I made some improvements, and I think you can actually see Leonardo this time! I switched to a better camera for one thing and placed it at a better location too. I could even see when water was dripping in there. I have a dripper that runs with a peristaltic pump set with a timer to go on a few times a day.

I am expecting a shipment of silkies to arrive today and if it comes early enough I'll be running home to throw some in for him. These will be his first silkies so I'll share the moment with anyone who wants to watch! :D (I'll repost if I'm able to run home)

silky update and question

So I added a bunch of silkies and he loves them! This is great because he doesn't seem to dig crix very much.

I bought these from Mulberry farms and they first made a mistake and sent my silkies to someone else. To correct this mistake they doubled my order and switched me to Fedex shipping. So now I have 400+ silkies instead of 200! The question is can I slow down the silky growth of one of the containers somehow without killing them?

Such a cool idea! I kept checking the cham-cam yesterday and didn't see anything, but I just looked again and he's right there! Up in the top left corner! :D Lol, I clicked away to post and when I went back he was gone! Hehe! It's like a game of Where's Wally, lol!

Since I put some silkies in there, he is being way more active, which is good. I found myself worrying about him a lot when I could never see him, but I'm relieved to actually see him move around now. I hope he loves silkies a lot because I have SO many for him to eat!

Really nice dude but Its bad enough that I sit around watching my cham all day now Im watching mine with my laptop in front of me watching yours!

What kind of web cham are you using? is it wireless? I have my cham in my bedroom but my computer is downstairs so It would be interested in something like this but it would need to be wireless.

I'm use the Hue webcam. It's not wireless, but I'm sure you can find wireless ones. And maybe even some that let views move them, that would be really cool! But certainly more expensive too. I just got a longer USB extension so I might try to relocate the cam for better lighting and viewing.
