cham and free ranging...?

Hi I've made Kermy a lil free range.. Haven't got any lighting (heat or uvb) on it as it in my bedroom and its always really warm in there temps about 70.. What I want to know is it ok if he just hangs out in his free range for half hour or so a day he really seems to like it so before I make it a regular thing i just want to know will I be doing more harm than good??

My chameleon spends most of her day out of her cage on my plants, i have no lights for her, i have it so she can come and go from her cage as she pleases. She is over a year old and has lived like this her whole life and is very healthy.

That's fine, she can be without her lights for a little while and be ok. I let mine wander the house a little and may spend an hour outside of their cages walking around my shelves or couches. She'll probably really like the chance to explore.

I would say yes up to a few hours! Go for it, they love it
