Ceiling Husbandry

Hey all,

I have been reviving my late mother’s bright green pothos fir a few weeks now. It’s brightened up quite a bit, and now I believe it’s ready to be used as ceiling coverage.

However, I can’t figure out how I could starch my pothos to the ceiling of my cage. For reference, it’s an XL Reptibreeze (2x2x4). I’ve also attached a photo displaying the size comparison between my veiled and the pothos (yes, it’s pretty big!)

Does anybody have tips?

Just keep letting it grow and as it gets long enough, train it by wrapping it around branches in the direction you want. Adding a bit of natural fertilizer (like insect poo) may help it grow.

Note you do not want to attach plants to the ceiling you want to keep them down below the basking branches. When they are put higher in the cage they end up blocking UVB lighting.
