cats similar to chams?

So, I was thinking today... Cats are pretty similar to chameleons, personality-wise. For example,

-both usually sleep in the arched-back position with their head resting below
-both hiss and puff up at people and other animals, and are not friendly in general
-both like climbing and being in high places
-both tend to get excited when food is brought to them (and both like flying/moving insects!)
-both have longer tails than most animals
-both usually don't like water/run away from water

I'm just saying in most cases. I know everyone has one (of either animal) that is totally different than everyone else's.

Has anyone else noticed these similarities? ...Or do I just have too much time on my hands?

I've heard that humans are very similar to chameleons

- are not friendly, one of the species is even unable to prevent wars
- couldn't get enough food
- have two eyes
- drink water
- both use their tongues for special usage
- ...

Thaxter will come over and plunk himself down on the middle of a book, computer, or whatever you happen to be working with (his primary cat-like characteristic).

You could be right! My cham is very friendly has no issue over being handled and is a sweetie..
My cat is as meen as hell bites me if i touch him and wouldnt dream of coming over to me to be held!
