Love Cat. Very deep music. He was really a tortured soul looking for something in his early albums.

He has said some fairly extreme things, but I think he has gone back on most of the nuts parts that occurred when he first converted. I put it down to youthful idealism and try to remember that everyone makes mistakes.......easier to do when its a great musician, sportsman or artist.....especially if they dont practise what they preach and then change their minds. Unless he's recently said something daft I dont know about I think 'peace train' easily outweighs it all

Love him! And have to agree with the Harold and Maude comment. It is one of my very favorite movies, one of the few I can watch over. Dark, funny and sad all in one, but a real lesson about living life. Cat Stevens music on the movie just made it even better...
