Casque Question

Having my veiled out and about for a bit as usual and while he was perched on my hand just chilling I notice I little fuzzy or whatever was on his casque. I gently removed it and got a warning hiss. No agreesion or starburst colors, he was just pretty much saying "don't touch me there" !!! Just wanted to make sure that I didn't hurt him or anything ??? I was super gentle, to me it seemed like I just crossed the line. Just want to make sure their casque are not super sensitive or anything.

Like you said he was just warning you not to do that. Not many chams really like to be touched, ( esp where they cant see what you are doing ) they perfer to do the touching :)

That's what I figured. For a veiled he is really tame and has been hand raised but that was a no touch zone I guess lol. He didn't puff of try to bite or anything he just went back to relaxing and looking around
