carpet chameleon shedding problems

She has been shedding for 3 weeks now. She has big patches of skin that haven't fallen off yet. She has never had trouble before. It's cold here now and the temps in her cage were low. I raised the temps and she did shed a little more. It's about 75-80 degrees where she normally hangs out. She also has a basking spot that's warmer but she doesn't go up there very often. She can also go down the cage for cooler temps. She never goes down there tho. She is 3 years old. She has a water machine that goes off every hour and I hand mist her two or three times a day. Is there anything I can do to help her?

I am carpet cham illiterate for starters. But, being low temps (winter) usually means lower humidity. It can be hard to maintain RH at these times. Adult lizards can shed parts as well as full body. However, full sheds at one time is preferred. Partial sheds taking a while are not uncommon. Make sure her RH is where it should be for starters. Get an extra mist or drip, if needed. Someone more experienced should chime in soon. Holiday week probably isn't helping your thread. Good luck and bump it if you need over the holidays.
