Can't make my mind up :(

I've been looking for a male ambilobe for a while now ( I live in Scotland) to perhaps pair with my female in the future but I've came across a shop that has a nosy mitsio in stock. In my opinion when fired up mitsios are gorgeous so I just don't know what to do! Wether to hold off for an ambilobe or get the mitsio I need heeeelp!

Nosy Mitsios are hard to come by in the US. If you do not plan on breeding and like the way the mitsios look, I would go with that one. They are one of my favs so I am a bit bias

Hmm I duno I would have liked to breed ambilobes a couple times at least but the yellows on mitsios are totally different lol ahh!

If it's a nice healthy specimen, I would go for the nosy mitsio.
Just because they are rare.

Thanks. I think I shall take it. It's still young but I have seen pics and he's showing alot of reds, yellows and whites so I'm assuming it's definitely male? I can't really make out a hemipenal bulge however.

Yes, if you can see reds and yellows it's most likely a male. If in doubt perhaps you can upload a photo here and we'll help you tell for sure.

If Mitsios are rare in Scotland, I would probably go with him. You can always find an Ambilobe, either as a second chameleon or down the line, as these are so popular. But the Mitsio might be harder to come by if you do decide that you'd like one after all.

Im not sure how rare the mitsio is here in the uk but my local place has 2 baby mitsio's for sale

I think in general all panthers are quite rare in Scotland, not really seen many and had to get my female ambilobe shipped up from London. Don't temp me with another one haha!
