Hey guys I am worried about my buddys hydration I do not see him drink anymore and his eyes seem a little sunk. These are the best pictures i could take and keep in mind that the angle and shadow of the pic does make it look a little worse than it is but you can get the idea. Thanks guys.

You know what i am gonna have to take new pics. I just looked at him and these pics look so much worse than he actually does starting to think i have been tricked by lighting all along.

The eyes do look pretty sunk in to me.

I think if they weren't sunk in you wouldn't have the depth to create so much shadow.

to me it seems as if hes dehydrated i would increase is water intake or even give him a shower if you already havent been doing so

Ya he has a dripper and i mist him, but he hates water he always put his waterguard on you know when the water beads off and he runs away. i wanted to put him in the shower but im in az and the water is so hot.

hmm only thing i can think of is just increasing his misting or at least increase the time in which you mist him weather he likes it or not. im not a 100% but thats just what it looks like maybe with new pictures it will look different

Just tried taking some but he is less than enthusiastic about it and will not cooperate with me. I think i might wake up early tomorrow take his whole cage outback and use my cobra mister to soak him down. When i first got him the first ten min he was home he guzzled water down and now i never see him drink but he eats like a champ.

sense hes a veil thats the reason why panthers will drink tons at least thats what i have heard but veileds will drink maybe 30 secs and then be done with it just makes sure that you dont stress him out to much outside and that its not cold

Oh theres no chance of it being cold its stinkin hot out here im more worried about him being too hot.

Ya gonna give a try first thing in the morning, thanks for your time i appreciate it needed some extra opinions before i went into overdrive with my efforts on this he is a pain in the butt but i love him

well my veiled was drinking.. every time...
mostly when missted in his glass closoure..
now in his screen i never never see him drink..
so .. basicaly what i do is spray every 3 hours 30 secs...
and then every now and then had spray...
and theres a dripper and sometimes every 1 or 2 weeks i shower
with him
