I usually stick to the safe plant list from flchams. If the plant I'm looking at isn't listed I personally stay clear of it just to be on the safe side. Here's the link. Hope it helps! http://flchams.com/chameleon-safe-plant-list/
Yeah i checked the safe plant list, but there are tons that aren't on there that are safe and many on it that are questionable(at least from what i've read on here)
The main issue that you'll run into with all of those suggestions is that they require more light than they will get at the bottom of the cage. Creeping Jenny AKA moneywort is on several unsafe plant list as well.
For your purposes try baby tears, sellaginella, or Bolivian jew, but you will need exceptional lighting to light plants under the canopy of taller plants and at the bottom of the enclosure.
Got some baby tears already, they were doing great spreading and all (on my back porch not in the cage) and all of a sudden they are starting to melt away, any idea what could be causing this? I live in PA, weather is around 50-80 lately varying greatly. I was considering using a jungle dawn bulb, i had a feeling the main problem would be lighting.
