Can someone please help identify the gender of my panther chameleon ?

I bought a male hatchling about 7 months ago and he’s never developed any colors other than pink or red. I wonder if I was accidentally given a female??

She doesn't appear to be receptive or gravid, but I'd put a laybin in her viv anyway, when she goes receptive she will be producing eggs, during that time she will turn straight pink, there will be no mistaking that, then she will go gravid, which is usually black-pink and she will be swollen with eggs at that time, and will lay the eggs 1-4 weeks from turning gravid
