Can my chameleon eat a spit bug?

So in Las Vegas, and i bet many other places, there are spit bugs. The adults mate then spit saliva to make like a nest, and then they hatch in the saliva nest. I was bringing an umbrella plant inside to put in his cage and when the plant was in there, i sprayed the plant with water. Next thing you know, a spit bug comes crawling from under the leaves. Now if my chameleon finds it and eats it, will everything be alright?

On the other hand, it doesnt look like a spit bug and i didnt put pesticides on the bush it came from, so if its something else do you think its ok if he eats it? I didn't mean to have it in there i just dont know where it went other than its inside the cage.
