Can i use a exo terra glo lght clamp lamp with a arcadia d3 mercuary vapour bulb??? Or will the bulb be too powerful i gettin a 100w arcadia d3 bulb

Use the biggest hood you can or no hood. The more airflow around the bulb the cooler it will run and the longer it will last. You can kill them in 90 days by putting a 100 watt bulb in a 60 watt dome.

Thanks for the help but would it still be as effective as uaing a dome though and if mounted outside the cage would enough light go through the mesh screen?
