Can chameleons sleep walk?

My cham is on a regular 8am-8pm schedule. He went to bed on time, all comfy and ready to sleep. The lights were turned out so he had darkness and his temps are normal. About 3 hours later now he started walking around. I checked on him and his eyes are still completely closed but he was moving! So I am wondering can chams sleep walk or have nightmares?

I wonder whats up with this too. One of my chameleons sleeps upside down on the top of its enclosure and moves around all night long. :p

They can definitely have dreams, or at least I believe. All animals have a mind of there own, therefore making them dream. But hey, if we sleepwalk, why cant they? ;)

I've seen dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters sleep walk, so I believe they could. I wonder whether or not they do this in the wild, or if it is a domesticated thing??

one of my hamsters gets out of bed immediately if he hears his food bowl being filled, but he doesn't bother opening his eyes- just fills his pouches and stumbles back to bed lol

Sometimes Neelix will go to sleep in 1 place & then in the morning he's sleeping soundly at the other end of his cage.

Yeah he ended up getting stuck under a fake plant after I posted this. So I carefully moved and set him on another branch, he opened his eyes for a second but wouldn't move at all. Then he just kept switching from lying down to sitting up all night :p

I think they must dream and stuff. He freaked out when he got stuck even though he was still asleep, he must have thought he was getting attacked :(
I've also caught him a couple times moving his eyeballs around even though his eyes were closed still.
