Can chameleons eat daffodils?

My friend picked a daffodil from a plant at school and gave it too me. She said I should feed it to my chameleon, just as a joke at first but now I’m wondering if I actually can. Can I feed it to him as a treat?

Daffodils, narcissus, jonquils, and tulips contain calcium oxalates and lycorine that can cause intestinal problems for mammals. Best not to feed them to anything though the highest level of the chemicals are in the bulb. It's pretty telling that pasture grazers avoid them, but it's also one reason they spread so successfully.
