For those of u who read my previous post about the problem cami (my female veiled) was having with her eggs the latest new is:

She is still in surgery at the moment i called to see how she was doing and have been told that when she was opened up the eggs were found floating in her abdomen and her falopian tubes had ruptured so she is currently undergoing a major op to haver all her reproductive organs removed!!

I will keep u all posted on how she is doing xxx

Shame But dystocia is a common ailment in reptiles. I hope she makes a full recovery and goes on to live a full life. Fingers crossed for ya. :)

Is this the same female that got bitten in the mating process?? That would explain why the eggs were loose inside her.

how is Cami doing now?

she went to the emergency vets yesterday because she wasnt looking to good, he gave her another antibiotic injection and she is looking a lot better this morning. Im still taking her for her appointment at the vets this evening!

Sounds like you got a little fighter with a will to live. Hang in there, hopefully all will be fine. We are all hopeing and praying for you. Let us know how it goes.

she's lookin a lot better in herself, been back to the vets today! She's still not eating though so the vet has given me some critical care(if u havent heard of it its kinda like a meal supplement) to mix up and feed her via syringe while he does some digging about to try and find out if there is any sort of appitite stimulator she can have. He knows with iguana's vitamin b12 works but needs to find out about chams!!
