This isn't directly related to chams themselves.

I wanted to see what kind of cameras everyone uses to get those wonderful shots. Im lookin to get a decent camera thats realitivly inexpensive. I want to get some really good photos of my chame though. The one i use now, I have a hard time getting it to focus on him... I may just be camera illiterate though.. I currently use the Kodak easyshare Z885.

I use Canon S5 IS. it is not a dslr (pro camera) but it is a hybrid (High end point and shoot) bhphoto.com has them for 309 bucks.

I'm still using my old Canon Digital Rebel 6.3MP DSLR with the 18-55mm lens. The more recent model available that's in the same price range is the Canon Digital Rebel XTi with the same 18-55mm lens. It now has even more pixels while being a few hundred bucks cheaper! I got it at Costco years ago. If you are going with a DSLR, stick with Canon or Nikon.

This seems like a nice camera for the price. perhaps ill head out and "test drive" one. income taxes are coming!

yea its a great start camera cuz it has the auto feature but can also be upgraded with a lens

Nikon D40!
Great beginner DSLR for the price.
The lenes are much cheaper then Cannons too.
Save up enough money to buy a different lenes.
The one that comes in the package, 18-55mm, isnt that great.
A decent macro lens is a must!

I use my cameras for cars more than anything, my favorites are my Kodak 8.3 mp p880, I got all the extra lenses and tripods, not to ment my new pocket cam, the new kodak 10mp...I forget the model number but they are swweeeeet and cheap too, and 10mp camera for less than 150.On sale that is.

Canon eos xti 500 D

Usually use my 80-300 zoom so that I can get good shots of him while im like 20 ft away so he's not annoyed by me! lol
