CAMELLIA (Camellia japonica)

Gucci got a new tree CAMELLIA (Camellia japonica) for her free range the leavs are soo thick and branchy. Its a evergreen and on FLchams plant list I read it blooms full of flowers and the leaf is used in tea and heals insect bits.

Not sure why you would want to heal insect bits :D. The Camellia that gives us black and green tea is a different species, C. sinensis, often called C. thea.

I have not found that any Camellia makes a suitable house plant. They invariably don't flower after the first year, and often decline and die in summer. They can be grown in a cool greenhouse, with extra care. Or, they're good shade plants outdoors in your climate.

All Camellias need an acid-enhancing fertilizer on a regular basis, such as "Mir-acid" (the trade name for this product in North America).
